SHIPCON BUILDS CONSORTIUM WITH 25 PROCESSING CENTERS TO PROCESS USPS SMALL PACKAGE SERVICES NATIONWIDE
The Nationwide Organization of Independent Presorters saves companies postage expenditures and improves delivery times.
Chicago, IL, April 30, 2007 Shipcon, a nationwide organization of independent presorters rolls out its services to cover the major USPS processing centers. Since its inception in 2005, Shipcon has provided commingling and zone-skipping of USPS small package services including library mail, media, bound printed matter, parcels, and non-profit shipments.
With presort partners in Bulk Mail Centers (BMC) cities and several of the Automated Sorting Facility (ASF) cities, companies are now able to save parcel shipping costs with improved delivery times. Shipcon can lower the cost for companies that currently ship packages to BMC’s. At the nationwide Shipcon facilities, packages are commingled with other parcels and delivered further into the USPS system.
Shipcon provides valuable web-based parcel tracking services for inbound and outbound packages for delivery confirmation. In addition, all packages are insured up to $100 at no additional cost to the business.
