New facility showcases state-of-the-art Technology Center.

Woodridge, IL, April 2, 2007 – With the consistent growth of Numina Group, the Company invested in an environmentally friendly new construction. “This was the goal from concept to completion,” said Dan Hanrahan, president of Numina Group.

The building has been constructed using R28 for the walls, R13 for the extended ceilings, installation of extra windows for indirect solar heating, florescent lighting in the office and Technology Center, high efficiency furnace and high efficiency appliances installed in the kitchen area. All materials used to construct the building are highly efficient, conserving on the amount of power and energy needed by the Company during peak business hours.

“Everyone at the Numina Group agreed to the importance of constructing a building that is sensitive to environmental issues,” Dan Hanrahan continued. “As a Company we agreed to turn off lights when natural lighting is sufficient. In addition, we installed numerous windows where the ceiling and side walls meet in the Technology Center, and to date, the lights have remained off.”

The new state-of-the-art Technology Center features various manufacturers such as Ermaco sorters and Panther’s print and apply machine. The Technology Center can show the proof that: Numina’s RDS 5.0 is built on open systems architecture providing scalability and integration to all manufacturers hardware and software regardless of speed, size and use;
The intelligence of the software can accommodate any request of the customer and show proof of efficiency of processes, time savings and ultimately cost savings.

“The Technology Center has been designed to show proof of concept,” concludes Mr. Hanrahan. “Customers are encouraged to visit and monitor the testing. Even though site visits is still instrumental to a customer’s proof of operation, ‘seeing’ a small scale of their operation in production with results is what we deliver to the new customer.”
